With a growing Sixth Form, the school needed to rethink its existing space provision and create an environment that could support students throughout the day. A redundant PE hall was identified as the ideal location for a new breakout and dining area. The school required a multifunctional space that would oer flexible zones for eating, studying, and socialising within a modern, uplifting setting.
The Solution
Westcountry Group delivered a full turn-key transformation of the hall, creating a warm and welcoming space tailored to the needs of Sixth Form students. Design challenges, such as the sloping ceiling, were addressed with stylish suspended acoustic rafts, while a beautifully crafted servery counter enables hot and cold food to be served throughout the day. A variety of tables and seating configurations ensures the space can adapt eortlessly to multiple uses, giving students a comfortable place to eat, work, and connect.
