LEGO Hub

Institution: Willington Independent School

Location: Wimbledon, London

Requirements: Supporting SEN Development

The school is absolutely delighted with the result. The LEGO Hub has quickly become a standout highlight on parent tours and is already playing a valuable role in community outreach, including parent and toddler sessions and wider engagement initiatives.

Their Requirements

Willington Prep wanted to create a truly inspirational “wow” space where every student could immerse themselves in the creative world of LEGO®. Recognising that LEGO play transcends age, ability, and learning needs, supporting SEN development, collaboration and imagination, we transformed a tired, outdated library into a vibrant, dynamic LEGO hub bursting with colour and energy.

The Solution

Designed with multiple build stations, the space allows budding LEGO enthusiasts to explore, create, and socialise at their own pace. It’s a place where friendships form, ideas grow, and students can build literally and figuratively in every dimension.

The Result

The school is absolutely delighted with the result. The LEGO Hub has quickly become a standout highlight on parent tours and is already playing a valuable role in community outreach, including parent-and-toddler sessions and wider engagement initiatives. Its versatility makes it ideal for SEN support and after-school clubs, offering long-term value and establishing a truly unique feature within this forward-thinking, inspirational school.
