Westcountry Group is looking for an experienced, pro-active, and results-driven individual based in our Plymouth office, with a proven and demonstrable track record in business development, telemarketing and appointment setting.
The working environment is highly people-orientated, friendly and fast-paced; the successful candidate will be working in a sales environment with similarly-minded enthusiastic achievers.

This person will fill a key role in the company’s strategic plan to continue the dynamic growth of our business; the role will suit someone who is hungry for success and actively looking to progress to the next stage of their career. Previous experience in commercial workspaces is an advantage but not essential.
Role & Responsibilities
This role involves locating and canvassing prospective clients in commercial workspaces who are currently considering new furniture and/or premises refurbishment and fit-out, with a view to building strong business relationships and arranging appointments for a visit by one of our Sales Team.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience developing a generous pipeline of business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers including facilities managers, property developers, and business owners
- Conducting thorough market research
- Identifying potential clients and emerging trends in commercial workspace design
Desired Skills
The role will suit someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels. The individual should also have strong commercial awareness, be self-motivated with a proactive approach, entrepreneurial mindset and professional resilience.
The successful candidate will project the positive culture and ethos of the Company in every aspect of their work and relationships with both their colleagues and our clients.
