Westcountry Group were appointed by Ambitions Academies Trust to transform several areas at St Aldhelm’s Academy. Careful consideration was given to the room designs and layouts to optimise teaching and learning as well as maximise student numbers.
Our solution
We created an IT suite that was practical, uncluttered and equipped to keep pace with emerging technologies, whilst offering flexibility for individual study and collaborative learning. The science labs were designed to comply with current Health and Safety regulations and involved the integration of surfaces, services, furniture and storage facilities to create working areas that perfectly fit the school’s needs.
Result
Our approach resulted in workable, functional and engaging surroundings for staff and students whilst retaining a modern feel.
