Challenge18: An exciting enigma challenge!

This year, team Westcountry Group held our annual get-together at the picturesque Dillington House where MD Miles presented our goals and strategy for 2018. The theme for this year is “Challenge18”, symbolising that it’s never easy, but it’ll require a team effort all the way to smash our goals!

Fittingly, the team activity was an “enigma challenge”. We were split into 4 groups by the enigma team, told we had 90 minutes, 130 questions and a large box full of rubber ducks, balloons, chopsticks and various other miscellaneous objects with which to solve the questions!

And test our creativity, teamwork and lateral thinking it certainly did! From a quick sketch of the Mona Lisa to a group photo showing the team keeping 12 balls in the air at the same time to selfies with over-70s, the tasks, questions and problem-solving challenges were as mind-boggling as they were random and fun!

All teams performed exceptionally well, and a big (yet grudging) congratulations goes to the lucky team “The Dudes” who earned themselves a well-earned Friday afternoon off with a spanking 2130 points – one of the highest scores on record!

Everyone came away revived, inspired and invigorated, ready to make 2018 the best year yet. It’s already proving to be a busy one, so let’s keep up the good work!
